God’S Secrets to Business Success - Take Action Now

By LRPN Team the idea of taking action now is not a new concept. We have all heard the exhortation "just do it" from Nike advertisers and many successful people, yet it seems so difficult for so many of us to follow through and take action now, because either we lack the courage or just don't feel the urgency. The problem is we lack self-motivation! We justify our procrastination by telling ourselves:

  • I need more information

  • I need my circumstances to change first

  • I need more money

  • I need to build more connections

  • I need to read that one book that will inspire me to take action

  • I need one more guru to tell me something profound that will make me do it

No you don't! All of these are smoke screens and excuses that keep you in your comfort zone. They prevent you from stepping out in faith, grabbing the proverbial bull by the horns, and launching your venture or business idea, writing the book you have wanted to write, pursuing the career you want, creating the website, or starting the blog that you keep promising yourself you will do tomorrow. Your problem is not lack of information, skills, connections or resources, it slack of resolve to TAKE ACTION NOW!

The Bible has the wisdom, insight, and motivation that you need to give you that boost or push to get going. It has everything you need that pertains to life and Godliness. There are more than 5000 promises you can access by faith in God. It is the entrance of God's Word that brings light; and this light gives the clarity, that produces self-governing and self-motivation, which produces transformation. God's Word must enter into the recesses of the core of who you are. When the Word reaches your core, and the light turns on, then there will be change.

What does taking action now look like? Well, Jesus is our best example. In just three short years of ministry Jesus accomplished much. He was focused and his days were filled with purposeful activities. He went about teaching, healing, and serving others from morning until evening. He did not waste one moment of any day. And yet he made time to spend quality time in communion with the Father. When Jesus said in John 9:4 "Work while it is dayâEUR¦.", he was saying do it, just do it now! Don't wait. Take advantage of opportunities because they don't last!

Do it now was not just seen in the life and words of Jesus. Everything about the Bible is now! "Now is the acceptable time, behold now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor 6:6b). The most important thing someone can do in this life is to make their calling and election sure. Most people know this truth, but do nothing about it. The urgency of 2 Cor.6:6 is to do something now. Now is the day of salvation. The Bible also says, "he that is diligent in business will stand before kings" (Prov. 22:9) and whatsoever you find to do, do it with all your might (Eccl. 9:10).

Everything you do should be done heartily, with your heart in it as unto the Lord (Col 3:23). But, most people are just hearers of the word and not doers. Whatever you feel called to do - do it! What is hindering you? Are you waiting for something to get better or for some outside force to zap you? God is not going to do it for you. He calls you to act on His promises now, and then He will bless your efforts. God delights in the way of a good man. The steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord. You must walk and do what he has you to do in faith will reap his blessing. Take action now!
