How To Prepare For Travel

Traveling The benefit of this article to you the reader, is to prepare you for traveling.
Some questions you have to answer before you actually travel, and some decisions you have to make prior to your travel.
What to take and how to plan.
One of the first things you have to do when you decide to travel or plan a vacation is to decide on a destination.
Where do you and your spouse want to go.
Will you travel domestically, or will you travel outside of your own country.
Which ever you choose, you both have to coordinate your times with your office.
If you both work in the same place this could propose a problem with management.
On the other hand some places don't allow holidays during certain times of the year because of the nature of their business.
Once you have confirmed your time off, now you have to set a budget, which will play a huge roll in whether you travel domestically or abroad.
You have chosen a twelve day cruise.
Now all the planning begins.
Booking your flights and connections.
Is your passport current? Are you up to date with your shots? Who do you notify you are going and who do you give your agenda to in case of an emergency? Where do you board the cat and dog? Have you made arrangements for some one to check the house while you are gone? Now that you are traveling abroad, the next arrangement is the traveling to and from the air port.
Do you drive your car and leave it at the air port, or leave it at a parking facility, or if you are lucky enough you can find some one to drive you to and from.
That is the ideal situation, then you know your car is not exposed to the elements or theft.
How much money do you take and how do you take it? What amount do you put into travelers cheques and how much actual cash do you carry on you? Most importantly where do you carry it? She takes some and he takes some.
Now comes the tough part, how to pack your suit case.
Do you take two suit cases, or three suit cases? How many carry on cases are you allowed? Do you take an empty suit case so you have room to bring home some souvenirs? How much room does she get of the suit case as appose to the space he gets.
Remember, women have much more to take than guys, so that answers that question.
A couple of items you can't forget is your sunglasses, and for you men your toiletry bags.
Sunglasses should be worn both in the winter and in the summer.
This is to ensure eye protection.
As women have their own case for all their make up, so do the guys have their case, it is called a toiletry bag for all their shaving items.
It has only been a few years that men have had toiletry bags to organize their toiletry items.
As for they come now a days in many different shapes and color.
Choose the sunglasses that fit your face the best and that block out the sun to protect your eyes from the suns rays.
One thing you should not go cheap on is your sunglasses.
Your eyes are very important so take care of them.
