The Learning Experience Expands to Include All-New Before and After School Program Come Sept 2012

With already established day care and education standards available at The Learning Experience, the all-new Before and After School Program adds even more benefits to aid the development and care of local children.
NEWTOWN, C.T. - With such a busy world, it may be difficult for busy parents make time to find the right Day Care center for their children. Happily, The Learning Experience in Newtown takes away that stress and adds a unique and tailored environment for children to learn and grow.
With state-licensed programs and experienced teachers, children ages PreK through Kindergarten have been learning through activities and interaction for many years. Now, The Learning Experience in Newtown is proud to bring the same great experience to elementary students, up to the fourth grade, with its new Before and After School Program.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer this new program to our local elementary students," said Danielle Van Riper, Owner and Operator of The Learning Experience. "Being able to be a part of growth and development for these children brings daily satisfaction, knowing we are making a difference in their lives. We hope to see new faces once the program begins in September."
The new Before and After School Program for Elementary School Children begins September 2012 and will offer services to grades K-4th. Daily activities that will be part of the new program include:
€ Homework help
€ Chess club
€ Science club
€ Special arts and craft activities
The hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and will include a snack for the children. These hours will also be available during the days that the public schools are closed. Another benefit offered by The Learning Experience in Newtown is free school bus transportation for children attending the Middle Gate School District.
From PreK to the 4th Grade, children will benefit from the hours they spend at The Le arning Expe rience in Newton as each visit helps prepare them for their future education.
