Why is Blog Commenting Important For Bloggers?

Blog commenting can help your blog in 3 ways: 1.
Exposure = Traffic Firstly, it gets your blog noticed by the readers of those blogs.
This can in turn lead to attracting readers of those blogs to your site.
This is one of the best way of getting targeted and focused readers to your blog.
You already know that they're interested in the issue at hand, and all that you have to do is draw them to your site.
It might be harder than it sounds, but you can gain a lot of traffic like this.
Of course, you're only going to be attracting readers to your site if your comments are valuable.
You're not going to attract many readers by writing "nice post" or "thanks" which is what many blog comments tend to be.
Write real content, and you'll get noticed - either by the readership of the blog in future comments, or the blogger himself.
The blogger himself might start reading your blog and then you'll have another reader - If your stuff is good, you might earn yourself a backlink from his site which could also prove to be valuable.
2.
Backlinks: The way to improve your site's search engine optimization and search engine rankings is to attract backlinks to your site.
Which backlinks are valuable? Mostly, it is sites that have relevant content to your site that have quality content.
For bloggers these sites are easy to find - it's the popular blogs in their niche that are already doing well.
Many blogs are nofollow though, which means that your comments will not help you in terms of backlinks.
If you Google the term "dofollow search engine" or something along those lines, you'll get lists of blogs that are dofollow.
The reason why there are so few dofollow blogs is because they generally attract spammers who are just interested in the backlinks.
That's why you must be sure to not come across as a spam comment.
Just include some real content, which will be possible if you read his post and are knowledgeable on the issue.
The basic rule is that if you contribute to other, they will contribute to you.
3.
Gain authority points for your blog: Why are some bloggers boasting readerships in the hundreds of thousands and some bloggers can't get 10 hits a day? I think it's because some bloggers are seen as being "the authority" on given subjects.
Even if the two bloggers have very similar content, one will naturally draw more traffic because people think that he knows more, so naturally they'll be drawn to that blogger.
One way to become that type of blogger is to leave valuable blog comments on the posts of others, and readers will be able to see for themselves that you are the authority on the subject.
It is worth noting that for the 3 ways that blog commenting can benefit your website, only the 2nd reason (backlinks) can only be done from dofollow blogs.
You must comment on the main blogs in your niche, even if it is nofollow since there is still much to be gained in terms of traffic, exposure, and authority points.
There is a myth being spread on the internet that it is only worth commenting on dofollow blogs.
I completely disagree since I comment mostly for blog exposure, and that is not limited to any specific type of blog.
