- Diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, gas and belching, abdominal pain and bloating after meals are common symptoms that can be caused by the weakened immune system.
- Increased sensitivity to perfumes and chemicals and food allergies or intolerances are common in patients with yeast overgrowth. Chronic sinusitis, congestion and allergy flareups are common as well.
- Psychological disturbances such as depression, anxiety, irritability and mood swings can occur. Other cognitive impairments like memory problems, lack of concentration, ADD and feelings of spaciness are possible.
- Frequent vaginal, prostate and urinary tract infections are caused by immune system impairment. Frequent yeast infections, PMS and infertility problems have also been linked to candida.
- Other symptoms include muscle aches and pains, joint problems, weakness, skin irritations, acne, throat and ear infections, hypoglycemia and headaches.
