- Park at your own risk. Car parks are not required to be legally responsible in case of theft or damage to your car or other personal belongings on-site. By entering the car park and taking a parking ticket you waive responsibility of the owner of the car park.
- Car parks are required to clearly post all applicable rules and regulations in clear view of patrons. These rules may be listed on a placard upon entry to the garage or in several spots in each area of the garage. In lieu of a posted placard, car parks are also allowed to print rules on car park tickets.
- Car parks are considered private property whether personally owned or owned by the city or other local government. City car parks must abide by a fee schedule set by the city council. Privately owned car parks can set their own fees but may be overseen by a branch of local government.
