Pacific Asia Museum

• Pacific Asia Museum is an art gallery and a museum on Los Robles Avenue that features various galleries for kids and adults, including the Hans and Margo Ries Gallery, which houses pottery from Sawankhalok and Sukhothai kiln centers that also highlight the glazing techniques; Buddhist artwork from Northern India, Tibet and Nepal; as well as the Lee and Zora Worson stone collection that features wood and bronze sculptures representing Buddhist and Hindu deities from Southeast Asia. Some of the daily summer programs in the Pacific Asia Museum include Chinese brush painting, Silk Road storytime, and tai chi and yoga classes. Museum personnel encourage potential students to observe a free class prior to enrolling. Food booths and souvenir shops are accessible in the museum as well.

Kidspace Children's Museum

• Kidspace Children's Museum aims to offer creative environments that motivate learning by means of interactive experiences, as well as self-directed interest and play in the sciences, humanities and arts to enhance the lives of children and their families. The museum also provides a venue for exhibits and programs, birthday parties and school fairs. Kidspace features several educational, fun and interactive activities and programs throughout the year that blend learning initiatives with exhibit themes. Kidspace's outdoor learning environments and indoor exhibits provide several opportunities for guests to look into and explore the natural world as well as articulate themselves in imaginative ways. Summer programs include exclusive summer offerings for younger kids with immense interest in arts, sciences and language. Huntington Library Art Collections and Botanical Gardens‎

• Huntington Library Art Collections and Botanical Gardens‎ are situated in San Marino, which are only eight miles from Pasadena's city center. Huntington's summer school programs serve more than 750 teachers and 12,000 children each year on average. Students from all over San Diego, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Ventura counties participate in 11 distinct and complimentary school field trip programs. Summer lesson plans are in the field of humanities, science and art developed by Huntington scholars and educators, and they include Huntington's collections, which are employed in schools countrywide. Huntington's summer education programs serve an extensive audience and provide enhancement for casual visitors, members of the organization, schoolteachers, adults and children. Programs vary from animated activities for preschoolers to concentrated five-week setups for the K-12 classroom teachers.
